Do you accept insurance?
YES, WE NOW ACCEPT OPTUM AND AETNA INSURANCE. For other insurance providers, InnerSol Therapy operates as an out-of-network, cash-pay provider. While we do not directly accept insurance, we partner with a company that may assist you in receiving reimbursement if your plan offers out-of-network mental health benefits. This company will file claims and manage the insurance paperwork on your behalf. To determine if you qualify for reimbursement, please check with your insurance provider regarding your out-of-network mental health benefits and the percentage covered after meeting your deductible. Please note, reimbursement is not guaranteed and full payment is required at each session.
What can I expect in my first session?
Once we determine we’re a good fit during the consultation call, then we will schedule our first session, called an “intake session” which is fancy way of saying a "get to know you" session.
Before we meet for the intake session, I’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork that will help me get to know more about you.
I live outside of California; can I still work with you?

Unfortunately, no, therapists are only able to provide services in the state that they are licensed in and I am only licensed in California.
Do you offer services in-person?
InnerSol Therapy is exclusively virtual.
The best part about this is that you can be anywhere in CA!
What is tele-therapy (online therapy) like?
It looks very similar to regular therapy but from the comfiest spots of your own space.
How often do we meet and for how long?
It totally depends!
I meet with the majority of my clients weekly or every-other-week. I recommend when possible that we meet weekly for at least the first 4 weeks to help establish a good foundation. That being said, we'll chat about how often sessions should happen to match what works best for you. And as we go along, we'll keep checking in to make sure it's still working for you and your needs.
When it comes to how long you'll be in therapy, the awesome part is that it's all about what works best for YOU. Some clients are here to create a long-term therapeutic relationship and others might prefer a more short-term approach.
Are there mental health challenges you do not treat?
Definitely! It's in your best interest that I stay in my lane. If there are particular challenges I'm not specialized in, I'll refer you to a therapist who might be a better fit for your needs. Think of it this way, if I am a doctor that specializes in Optometry, I am not going to be a good-fit for you on issues you’re having with your feet. Areas like eating disorders and substance use disorders are among those I might recommend seeking specialized support for.

In certain circumstances tele-therapy will not be a good fit for some clients such as if the client is presenting active suicidal or currently engages in self-harm.
